Preheat your over to 180℃ / 360℉
In a bowl, combine the minced garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, chopped fresh dill, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well to create the marinade.
Place salmon in a shallow dish or a zip top bag. Pour the marinade over the salmon, ensuring that each fillet is coated. Let the salmon marinate for a 5 to 10 minutes to allow the flavours to infuse.
While the salmon marinates, prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper or lightly greasing it to prevent sticking. Place parchment papar onto baking tray.
Arrange the salmon fillet on a baking tray, then carefully slide it into the oven. Allow it to bake for 10 to 15 minutes, adjusting the time based on the thickness of your fillets.
Once cooked, remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes.
Serve the Garlic Lemon Dill Salmon hot, garnished with additional fresh dill if prefered. It pairs well with steamed vegetables, roasted potatoes, or a fresh salad.
